Jazz for Tots

I want my 14 month old daughter to develop a more sophisticated palate for music than the standard kiddie nursery rhyme CDs permit.  Raffi is to music what Gerber is to food: bland, innocuous and, frankly, just not very cool (more on food for tots in a later post).  “Go Baby Go” by the Baby Loves Jazz band  is the anti-Raffi.  Classic children’s tunes like “The Wheels On The Bus” and “Old MacDonald”, but arranged and performed in a jazz-blues style by a band that has some serious chops.  My daughter totally digs it and it still sounds fresh to me after listening to it with her for the 300^th time!
